Because they are both from LA, they each have a huge love for the beach. They knew they wanted a wedding that was outside and one that gave them a “wild & free” feeling while at the venue, as if you could throw your hands up and twirl around, without a care in the world. They found a perfect venue – Malibu West Beach Club, with an expansive outside balcony, which overlooks a 180-degree view of the beautiful blue ocean and sandy beach.
More than just about everything else, Sam is absolutely obsessed with sunsets, especially at the beach. So the couple decided they wanted to base the whole theme/vibe of their wedding around the sunset. They used muted, but warm sunset hues and tones in all of their florals, rentals and even their desserts! They used the term “beachy chic” to explain the beautiful aesthetic of their wedding. One bride chose a white suit with a tie, a shirt and a necklace for the wedding day, the second bride preferred a lace off the shoulder mermaid wedding dress, pearl earrings and a half updo for a romantic feel.
The wedding arch was a stained wooden one with lush blooms and greenery and with an ocean view.
