We see lots of beautiful relaxed weddings around and sometimes I feel like I miss pure elegance and black tie. If you miss such weddings, too, and wanna see some polished luxury and glam, today’s wedding will inspire you a lot.
After taking a year to decide on their destination elopement, through their mutual love of travelling Brooke and Adam settled on the ever timeless Paris, the city of amour, which is quite fitting for these college sweethearts who met ten years ago. They choose the luxurious Shangri-La Hotel with its beautifully decorated rooms dripping in gold as their wedding venue, complimenting it with black flowers and small details. Both Brooke and Adam looked nothing but chic in their black-tie attire, giving all the captures an old Hollywood glamour feel, which is the perfect way to describe our bride and groom and their adorable Paris elopement.
For dinner, they had originally planned to be served outside on the terrace but it was moved inside into the Shangri-La’s incredible Grand Salon. They ended up having the entire space to themselves and it truly could not have been a more magical setting. The only request of the bride was that the stylists must incorporate her favorite color black into the design, and the result was unexpected, untraditional.
The bride was wearing a gorgeous strapless wedding dress with an embroidered and embellished bodice and a plain skirt with a train. She was rocking Hollywood waves, statement earrings and black Manolo Blahnik heels. The groom was wearing a classic black tux.
