Moody weddings and wedding shoots are very popular now, and you can see more and more of these beauties. Today’s shoot we are sharing is inspired by moody vibes, and luxe touches and incorporates both of these.
The shoot features atmospheric winter vibes, a romantic woodland setting and luxe florals. The shoot took place in on misty Slieve Gullion, in the spectacular Mourne Mountains and it was inspired by the backdrop and the beauty of the mist that so often graces the mountain tops. The color palette was greys and golds with pops of marsala, adding an air of elegance and eminence. The dark tablescape was done with dark plates, green glasses, gold cutlery and graphite grey candles and napkins. Marsala table numbers, fresh greenery, fruits and berries enlivened the table setting, and gold touches here and there made the tablescape chic, too. All the florals were done by Flowers by Mee. The wedding cake was a semi-naked one, with fruits berries and fresh blooms, perfectly styled for such a lux winter wedding.
The bride was wearing a beautiful gown from The White Gallery, which consisted of a shirt slip dress with a mermaid overdress of white tulle and lace appliques, wide sleeves and a cutout back, which looked fantastic. She completed the look with a messy updo and creamy heels. The groom was wearing a plaid tweed three-piece suit with a marsala velvet bow tie.
