So much joy, so much laughter, and so much elation! This couple is all about fun, easy-going and scream from the mountaintops love! Family and friends filed in from across the country – Amelia’s hometown is Atlanta, Georgia; Trevor is from Spokane, Washington – and they met and married at Union Pine in Portland, Oregon.
Amelia and Trevor wanted their special day to burst at the seams with as much joy and love as possible, and they did just that. Kicking off the celebration with a bridesmaids’ slumber party the night before, they kept surprising their friends. First off, the guests took a bright red double-decker bus to a beautiful rose garden in full bloom. They paid homage to the age-old tradition of “something blue” with a giant blue wall for wedding party photos. Dinner was a sizzling dish of Spanish paella, followed by a piñata cake – so tasty and so great!
The blooming rose garden and the florals were created by Fiore Florals, this is a fantastic place for getting married, romantic, beautiful and natural.
The wedding dress is handmade by Leslie Gilbertson and one of a kind because of the stunning lace capelet. The groom was rocking a classical tuxedo. All the rest were wearing black to make the ivory bridal dress stand out even more.
The mouthwatering toasted merengue and vanilla almond cake looks too good to be true! It was also topped with fresh flowers as it’s a gardn wedding. All delicious desserts were made by Sweetheart St. Johns.
This wedding is a great source of inspiration for spring and summer garden weddings, so if you are getting ready for one, get inspired!
