This DIY tutorial will help you to make your own boutonnieres for your wedding. It can be a little tricky, but worth to try! First you need to pick out a few little bits of flowers or foliage you find interesting and start with the main flower or focal point, in this case it’s the center of a coneflower. Add some leafy parts toward the right and mint. Then try to work in some little detail filler bits, use the tip of some buds on a butterfly bush and some of the little buds from a crepe myrtle outside. You may play with the positioning of the flowers, strip off any bits from the stems that are lower than you need. Use a small piece of tape or ribbon to hold the stems in place and tie it off in a knot or secure with a pin. Finally, trim the stem at an angle tapering it down and you’re done!
