When planning their wedding at lush venue The Acre Orlando with Ashton Events, Fallon + Josiah focused creating an environment. When guests walked in, they’d see them in everything, feel their energy, and take in their journey. Let’s take a look at this free-spirited boho wedding complete with jewel tones and macramé!
Outside of the actual ceremony, the couple didn’t want anyone to feel burdened to a specific section of the venue. They wanted it to feel like a festival with something to do or see or experience in little pockets of the space. They decided to have an artist friend of ours illustrate a little site map that could resemble something from Coachella with icons directing the guests to certain experiences. It was a ton of fun to plan out.
The stylists used bold, colorful blooms all throughout the design of the day. Underneath that gorgeous, giant tipi tent they combined a mixture of floral arrangements with lots of lanterns and candles to create a wide array of tablescapes and centerpieces. They loved using a variety of round tables with linens, wooden farm tables, and square wooden tables. Every table was a different look and feel, which was so fun and gave each guest a different experience. The bold use of prints and patterns was one of the best aspects of the day, especially the gold velvet and Aztec print linens.
The bride was wearing a unique lace wedding dress with an open back and long sleeves plus a train.
The bridal bouquet had a moody blend of reds and purple hues, including Fallon’s fave, king Protea.
The teepee was decorated in a bold boho way, with overhead decor, lights, colored glasses and blooms.
The wedding dessert bar was done with a green table and vegan desserts plus dream catchers over it.
