A rural Irish wedding, how would it look? Locally-sourced florals, beautiful textures, and stylish artisanal decor – this shoot will show you much more! Let’s have a look at this beautiful editorial in Ballilogue.
The inspiration behind the shoot was to show how beautiful rural chic can be, and make an emphasis on grey and green colors plus berries. Ballilogue provided the perfect setting for such a shoot, it’s a unique natural venue that perfectly fits the idea of rustic chic. The wedding table setting was done with an undressed wooden table, an abundance of greenery and beautiful linens, and white plates, clear glasses and silver flatware don’t distract attention from natural beauty of the runner.
The wedding invitation suite was done in grey shades and with dark calligraphy to fit the wedding shoot colors chosen: grey and green. The wedding cake was a contemporary concrete one in two shades, with a deer head and fresh greenery and fresh figs and blackberries.
The bride was wearing a modest wedding dress with a sheer overdress, illusion sleeves and neckline plus some lace detailing. The loose halo braid with the flowers and leaves scattered between is perfect for a boho wedding. She was carrying a wild-looking bouquet with plenty of texture and dimension plus lots of greenery.
