When the bride is a fashion designer, you know the wedding day is going to be full of style! Laura and Sam had the vision of mixing an industrial venue with classic and romantic vibes. L put her design skills to good use and brought in a stunning babies breath ceremony design, sleek rentals and pops of fun color.
She wanted the floral decorations to be edgy in shapes with hints of bold pop colors mixed in with super-soft pastels. Roses, anthuriums, bunny tails, baby’s breath, and dried/colored leaves have always been my favorites. Since the couple didn’t hire an event coordinator, creating mood boards, selecting rentals, designing paper goods, and planning the floor plan and agenda all became their responsibilities. The venue was beautifully decorated with the vines growing along the wall and beams gives it an age-worn, old world feel. L + S balanced that with a super modern baby’s breath installation and crisp white chairs. L + S designed the reception space to be very simple and sleek with pops of bold color. Broadway Party Rentals provided rentals for the day to match the minimal aesthetic and clean lines of the space. Flowers with unique lines and sculptural shapes are super trendy right now. These minimalist designs allow the flowers to have their moment in the spotlight and almost act as living art for the guest tables. Less is definitely more when it comes to this Pensa wedding cake. A simple and clean two tier cake with just a couple of styled flower accents is perfection for this wedding day!
