This wedding was truly an art deco masterpiece. The couple decided to get married in the city where they met and live, incorporating lots of personal touches into the design and flow of their special day. The ceremony was held at the Terra Gallery, a trendy art gallery in the SOMA neighborhood of San Francisco. Gold geometric accents, including a custom monogrammed, laser-cut cake topper carried the art deco theme throughout the night. Traces of a modernized 1920s aesthetic were present in the bridesmaids’ gowns, the bride’s birdcage veil, reception bar, and the metallic lettering and graphics on their invitation suite, menus, and welcome sign. Rose gold utensils and jewel-toned glassware and florals on reclaimed rustic, dark wood tables made for a bright and inviting reception.
The bride was wearing a plunging neckline lace wedding dress with illusion shoulders and back with a row of buttons. The bridesmaids’ gowns were sparkling art decor ones, and the groom was wearing a three-piece wedding suit with a tie.
