We love all of the ways you can now incorporate this sweet summer staple into your wedding, which is why we are head over heels for this ice cream inspiration shoot! The bright colors, sprinkles, and playful smiles are giving us major inspiration for a sunny season wedding. The photographer wanted to do something fun and playful, not the typical wedding set up at all. The planning began around Metro Maisy the Vintage truck from local ice cream shop, The Scoop. They played with the elements and color palette that you would find in an ice cream shop. Sprinkles and waffle cones were used as elements of decor and of course to eat!
Everything was centered around the idea of colorful and tasty ice cream. The seating cards are styled as ice cream cones, the invitations are bold and the envelopes are waffle printed. The florals and all the decorations are colorful as it’s summer and to remind you of ice cream types. The bride is rocking a retro look with a tea-length dress and dazzling blue pumps. Her accessories, makeup and look on the whole is playful and fun to highlight the style of the shoot.
The flower girls are also in bold dresses and everybody’s eating ice cream! Some of the shots incorporate a retro ice cream truck, the Scoop, which adds to the playful retro aesthetics of the shoot.
