If you’ve chosen geometrical wedding theme, you’ll love this DIY chevron table runner! To make it you’ll need 2 ½ yards of chevron fabric, sewing pins, a rotary blade, matching thread and a sewing gauge. Cut the salvage off. Decide how wide you want your runner to be and cut the fabric 1 inch wider than you want it. Continue to cut this width until you don’t have enough fabric. Turn the edge of your fabric under ¼”. Press and go along the entire runner. On your second lap, turn under again. Stitch the seam down using a ¼” seam allowance. Once you’ve made it all the way around your runner press it one more time. Such a runner is also great for a fall wedding in case you make it in fall colors.
