Halloween weddings and wedding shoots are really fantastic, spooky, elegant and captivating. And we can’t stop sharing them though Halloween has already passed – look at today’s shoot, you won’t blame us!
In the spirit of Halloween, this photoshoot was created to encompass the darker side of weddings. The stylists showcased alternatives to the light and bright, and went for an edgy and mysterious whimsy with the decor and shooting style.
The groom was wearing a classic black suit with a tie and a mask for an intriguing touch, and the bride was rocking a chic separate with a black lace top and a long skirt and a dark lip. The wedding bouquet was an oversized and super lush one, with red, burgundy, orange, crimson and blush blooms plus dark leaves and foliage.
The wedding reception was placed right in the forest, in fall leaves and under colorful trees. The wedding tablescape was done with a large skull, luxurious boho florals, black candles, moody matte plates. The table was shabby and uncovered, each place setting was done with a pear, all that created a contrast and the look was moody. The Bar Association whipped up some spooky, smoky Halloween-inspired cocktails to sip outside. And Landry’s Confections incorporated dried fruit, florals, and pavlova in the dark wedding cake design.
