Having a woodland wedding is always a little bit risky, but luckily for lovely Sarah and Jamie the sun shone down on them all day long. Let’s take a look at these nuptials.
The bride was wearing a backless embellished lace bodice wedding gown and a floral crown. The groom was wearing a navy three-piece suit, a floral bow tie and a chic beard.
The couple wanted a relaxed bohemian, woodland vibe, and Pinterest was great for inspiration. The groom made the signs out of wooden pallets they got for free and the bride painted the calligraphy. They made homemade candles using old jars. Jamie also made the framework for the ceremony arch which was later decorated with wild flowers by Jamie’s brother. The bride’s sister made dream catchers which were hung around the woods and smaller ones which the couple gave as favors. They then used bunting and fairy lights to decorate. They decorated the tables ourselves with gypsophila and lavender in different sized jars.
The wedding ceremony in the woodlands was short and sweet and then they all made their way together for a glass of bubbly and canapés. The venue was Potager Gardens in Cornwall, it’s close the couple’s home and it has relaxed vibes. The wedding food was completely vegan. The cake was 3 tier made of pistachio and lemon, chai latte and raspberry and vanilla. Later everyone had s’mores and whiskey by the bonfire. Get inspired by the photos of this laid-back wedding!
