Nikki and Leo’s dreamy Cyprus wedding was really a gorgeous one! You’ll love how they brought their different family roots to Nikki’s dad’s hometown for a big, summery wedding with twelve of the most adorable flower girls you’ll ever see.
The bride loves teal and navy, which made for a rich color palette that they chose to contrast with blush and neutrals throughout. The theme of the wedding was based on summer vibes, teal, and a beautiful outdoor setting. The bride is half Zambian and lived in Africa her whole life so a beautiful, fresh outdoor setting was very important to her! The couple really wanted to create a beautiful wedding and holiday experience for all the guests traveling from all over the world for the first time to Cyprus! They really wanted the guests to have seen and fallen in love with Cyprus and Pathos by the end of the wedding weekend. The 4-day celebration included snazzy all-white welcome cocktail at Suite48, a traditional Orthodox Church wedding, then cocktail with beautiful views of Pathos from Minthis Hills Resort, and finally beautiful reception at Elea Estate which had such a grand and beautiful feeling, a traditional Cypriot Meze Dinner in Tsada Village and a boat cruise day at blue lagoon.
The bride’s custom hand-beaded wedding dress was made in Italy by Lespose di Milano, complete with two different skirts for the ceremony and reception. The ceremony look was a full skirt, whereas the reception look was a half skirt—open at the front. The designers incorporated beads from her mom’s original dress and headpiece onto her new gown. The flower girls were rocking dresses inspired by her own. So sweet!
