Halloween has just passed, and today we have a darkly gothic and glamorous shoot for you from the fabulous Sarah Brabbin. Featuring couture evening gowns from Angel Couture, luxurious blooms and patisserie and gorgeous model this is perfect inspiration for those of you planning an autumn/winter wedding.
Moody weddings are very trendy, especially for the fall, and this shoot can be a great source of inspiration for everybody. This is a dark luxe shoot featuring velvet blood roses, rich decadent dark cherry liqueur velvet cakes, a chesterfield sofa, animal skulls, textural florals and greenery and a beautiful young ballerina in a faded, forgotten dance hall.
The bride, a beautiful ballerina, rocked two different dresses: a couture black wedding gown with cap sleeves and a beautiful triangle insert and a pink embellished and lace dress. Both dresses are totally gorgeous, the first sticks to the color scheme chosen, and the second stands out with its contrasting color.
The designers wanted to create a darker feel shoot that wasn’t the traditional Christmas or Autumnal feel, something a little darker now the nights are drawing in, but not fake blood, pumpkins and vampire capes. They managed to show something a little different – something somewhere between gothic and glamour, this shoot is all about refined details that are worth showing up at your wedding.
