Can a winter wedding with a fairytale castle backdrop work together with boho bridal style? That’s the question that inspired Josina, the Germany-based wedding planner at Hochzeits Verliebt. And she proved that it can!
The starring couple and their sweet dogs met on a cool winter’s day, the promise of spring just around the corner. With exquisite style and a backdrop straight out of a Medieval-period film, we’re thinking that couples looking to elope somewhere magical and off-the-grid should definitely be paying attention! Locals know Liechtenstein Castle by another name: the Fairytale Castle of Baden-Württemberg. It’s also known as Neuschwanstein’s Little Brother, which references its similar appearance to the most famous castle in all of Germany, the one that inspired Disney’s Cinderella castle!
The wedding tablescape was a moody boho one, with layered boho rugs, pampas grass, dried herbs, blooms, faux fur and mirror side tables. The wedding cake was a gilded pear one, with herbs and fresh thistles on top.
The bride was wearing a boho lace wedding gown with long sleeves, a plunging neckline and fringe. She covered up with a cozy wrap of faux fur, and was wearing boho rhinestone headpieces and chic earrings. That dreamy boho bouquet, complete with plumes of pampas grass, is the creation of florist, Blumencafe Vergissmeinnicht. The groom was wearing a brown checked tweed suit, a red bow tie and black shoes. Take a look at this unique boho shoot and get inspired!
