The most famous fashion houses have already presented 2014 collections and we can already see the hottest trends for the next year. John Galliano took the reins at Oscar De La Renta house and his signature was clearly all over the main lines but the style is similar to previous collections: simple silhouettes embellished with copious amounts of lace, applique and razored tulle. Kate Middleton effect is still in evidence in all the 2014 shows, and so are strapless gowns with simple bodices extending down to heavily detailed and embellished skirts.
