This couple rocked a super cool winter wedding! They incorporated romantic florals, fun nods to groom’s Scottish heritage, and some bold, modern elements which fit perfectly with the vibe of their luxe urban setting.
The couple chose the Battery for the wedding and reception because the building and décor are stunning. The building was built after the earthquake in 1907 and sits in the middle of the city near the iconic Transamerica pyramid. The interior is modern and luxurious with rich colors, patterns and textures in each space. The venue and the city (San Francisco) were both big inspirations – the couple wanted something modern, inviting and unique. The jewel-toned color scheme was incorporated subtly through the flowers and bridal party outfits; it was important that everything be cohesive and timeless.
The groom and groomsmen were wearing jackets, vests with ties and plaid kilts to give a nod to the groom’s Scottish origin. The bride was rocking a unique wedding dress with a gorgeous revealing neckline, no sleeves and a cool sparkling back for a very sexy look. Gorgeous pink velvet shoes topped with pearls and rhinestones were a perfect match for the dress. She also rocked a berry lip, trendy double sided pearl earrings – so many trends incorporated into one bridal look!
The wedding cake was one tier Lemon Zing and one tier Banana Bread Heath Bar. It was a marbleized grey green piece with gold leaf decor served with fresh greenery to make it stand out.
