We always enjoy seeing some new trends in wedding decor and outfits that are totally innovative. The wedding we are spotting today is right one of these – the couple chose a fantastic balloon cloud to decorate the reception!
Caroline and Dan wanted a unique wedding from start to finish, they tried to create a representation of them right now. The couple didn’t stick too closely to tradition but did involve some magical London locations with a stylish, modern twist to make them feel special to them. They chose a reception venue that they absolutely love to hang out at, White City House at BBC Television Centre. It is situated in the area of London where the couple first met, dated and lived together in their first flat – so it was super special to them. As a venue they don’t really ‘do weddings’, but that was even more appealing, as it didn’t box them into any pre-conceived ideas of what should happen when, or what anything should be like.
The vibe was a modern take on a city wedding. As for the reception, the balloon cloud is a particular beauty, beautifully framing the top table and then later the first dance in gorgeous metallic and matt finishes. Caroline and Dan also carried a giant balloon with them during the epic confetti moment.
The bride was wearing a full layered maxi skirt, a plain crop top with bell sleeves and statement earrings. The groom was wearing an elegant three-piece black suit with a white tie. Get more of this beautiful wedding below!
