Anna and Ben’s intimate, stylish London wedding is just the slice of cool we need! The creative pair held their big day on a modest budget, but with some savvy venue hunting and one very generous bridesmaid, the pair pulled of the wedding of their dreams, which is what it’s all about.
The bride was wearing a simple silk top and skirt because she prefers very casual style and didn’t want to feel like a fancy dress on her big day. She also bagged some awesome cobalt blue and gold heels and then changed to gold pumps. She covered up with a black leather jacket as it was a bit chilly. The groom was wearing a three-piece wedding suit in navy blue and brown brogues.
The bride found an affordable venue in London, it had just nice clean lines, wood and copper, nothing too ‘weddingy’, and the bride loved it. The color scheme stemmed partly from being inspired by the venue and partly from House of Hackney’s leafy designs. The bride designed their wedding stationery, website, table plan etc. with a banana leaf design and it all kind of snowballed from there.
The florists from Titiana’s Garden found the perfect selection of flowers which fit into the budget. They went with succulents and eucalyptus and the boys had yellow Craspedia and eucalyptus buttonholes. There was much greenery and lots of succulents everywhere. The bride’s mom made table runners for each table to give things a bit of depth and we finished things off with individual menus for each guest, ‘branded’ coasters and old photos of me and Ben with the guest pinned to their menu.
