Jaime and Roger are a couple that loves color and everything about the outdoors of Lake Tahoe, the beautiful place in which they both live, work and play. So, it was no surprise that a beach/lakefront ceremony was a MUST, along with partying with all their local friends and family at Basecamp Tahoe South, a boutique outdoor lifestyle hotel in the heart of downtown south lake Tahoe.
The couple chose the venue because they loved the open, grassy area, air stream trailer and its overall industrial look with bright pops of color and soft, cafe lighting with fire pits. It was very comfortable and inviting. The couple dined on tacos alfresco, while drinking fresh margaritas and sangria in the personalized mugs that all guests received at their place settings. There was every color of vintage glassware and candles on the guests’ rustic picnic tables that were adorned with bright colored runners! There was ping pong, corn hole, and a photo booth for guests to entertain themselves and the LOVE sign that lit up the outdoors and could be seen by all!
The bride works in the wedding industry and she easily chose a wedding planner for her big day. She also decided to refuse any DIYs because they cause a lot of stress for the brides and she didn’t want it.
The groom was wearing neutral pants and a white shirt. The bride opted for a lace dress with short sleeves, an illusion neckline and a front slit. Even the looks of the couple were incredibly relaxed and they felt totally comfortable in their attire.
