Imagine a small Airbnb compound in the desert, bohemian decor, dried flowers and a small list of 25 guests – this was the perfect recipe for Perscilla and Kevin’s festival-style wedding at the Mojave Desert Eco-Pods.
The inspiration for the wedding was to make it feel like a styled shoot/party. The bride wanted it to be pretty but minimalistic since the desert has enough beauty. They wanted it to be completely centered around being outside and although it was windy it worked out perfectly! The party aspect came pretty easily since all of the friends and family are a good time, it helped that they had glow sticks, good music, a bonfire and plenty of alcohol.
The bride was wearing a boho A-line wedding dress with neutral boho lace and an open back. The groom was rocking black pants, a dark floral shirt and a burgundy velvet blazer.
This wedding day was all about spending time with their closest loved ones. Because they held their wedding at an intimate Airbnb venue, they were even able to bring their pets in on the fun! P shared that they thrifted most of their wedding day decor. This is major inspiration for all the DIY darlings out there. Natural wooden farmhouse tables and chairs from New Age Events Rentals create the perfect stage for some cute boho accents like rattan lanterns and gold candlesticks. Tejana Rashelle Florals designed P’s bridal bouquet, and we love the muted desert hues and dried flowers that really fit with the vibe of the day.
