Jean and Will’s was designed around the idea that it was to be all about family and friends, to be “personal, unique, low key and calm” and the motto for the details “If we can’t source it, we’ll make it!”. So in the end their wonderful loved ones pitched in and helped craft all the details and decor for their beautiful wedding. It was truly a labor of love, let’s get more details!
Jean and Will (with lots help from their family and friends!) crafted almost all of the decorations for their wedding day. One special element that was made from scratch was the beautiful arch where they said their vows. How cute is this origami chandelier? Jean and Will designed and crafted it all by themselves! Along with the chandelier, they made all the decor for the reception including the wedding signage, table and bar decor, etc.
As for the wedding dress, from the start, Jean knew she wanted something classic, timeless and elegant-with no lace. Finding a dress that had all of this was a lot harder than she expected. Finally, after trying on 50 dresses, she found a strapless wedding dress with a bow on the waist and fell in love with it. the groom was wearing a three-piece wedding suit with grey pants and a waistcoat and a black jacket, the groomsmen were wearing the same. The chief bridesmaid wore a gorgeous lavender chiffon dress and other two bridesmaids – wore floral print bandeau column dress with waist frill and side split.
