Today we are sharing an urban city wedding are utterly immense, and if you were looking for autumnal style and elegance, look no longer – here it is!
The wedding took place in London, many guests came there from abroad as the bride is Canadian and the groom is Irish. The most important thing was to make the day about the guests, involving them as much as possible, providing an open bar, music to get everyone dancing, followed by a fabulous after party.
It was an urban London wedding in the middle of October, therefore felt very cozy and glam. Guests wore black tie and there was food like pumpkin pie served, based loosely on Canadian Thanksgiving which many guests were missing that weekend back home!
The venue was surrounded with fall leaves, and JamJar used big, wild floral bunches of deep plums, red and orange. Star cloth and hanging festoon lights created a romantic atmosphere, and the flower arch we were married under during the ceremony was later used as a photo booth.
The bride was wearing very glam and Old Hollywood in her champagne-colored satin dress. The bridesmaids were wearing mismatched long black dresses that they chose themselves. The bride’s grandmother brought a collection of rhinestone earrings from the 40’s, and each girl wore a pair which helped to tie the looks together. The groom was wearing a navy three-piece suit with copper shoes, and so were groomsmen.
