Whatever happens around, spring is here and this is a lovely season, very tender and very subtle. This spring bridal shoot done with earthy tones features a celestial stationery suite, ghost chairs, taper candles and lots more stylish decor and details making up the elegant tablescape – a perfect setting to enjoy and get inspired.
The Giraffe Shed is a rustic yet modern barn with a polished concrete floor and black cladding exterior. The idea of the shoot was to use muted earthy hues to compliment the barn and the surrounding countryside. But not going down an especially modern or rustic route, but (hopefully) and a more elegant one. The shoot was in April, not a beautiful spring day but a moody atmospheric one. The florals provided the main color for the shoot, with rust, apricot, cream and nude tones. There is a focus on seasonal spring blooms with iridescent butterfly ranunculus, japonica, caramel antique roses, spirea and foraged blossoms. The florals were quite relaxed, with installation around the green tweed sofa, which we then moved outside and placed amongst the reeds.
The shoot features a tablescape, echoing the rust, nude tones with full floral arrangements in concrete vessels along with the table, combined with Ester and Erik candles. The stationery is by CuriousMe with modern calligraphy, crystals, and hanging place names. There is also a Bridesmaids gift box, with gifts from independent artists and makers, for those difficult to buy for maids.
We’re appealing to your inner goddess today with a fabulous sequin skirt and bridal crop top with open back. Because we think everyone deserves to feel sexy on their wedding day. Both stylish, and elegant, and finished perfectly with a muted colored bouquet and flower crown.
