Moody, black wedding party attire, warm-toned florals and loads of pampas grass decor made magic for Merissa and Jacque’s big day at Galway Downs. A little bit edgy and majorly romantic, this wedding blends the best of black-tie style and boho vibes. Let’s dive in!
The color palette was chosen to blend the couple’s personalities – soft neutrals, with pops of hunter green, burgundy, and black for an ‘edgy’ appeal. M and J used black in such a great way and it really made their eclectic design choices pop! The ceremony space was ultimately boho, with a circle arch, vintage rugs and a pampas grass aisle to end all aisles. Sleek black and gold tabletop rentals from Hostess Haven gave the perfect edgy contrast to the soft blush and lace linens from BBJ Linen. M + J magically repurposed the pampas grass decor from their ceremony aisle and used it to create an amazing sweetheart table look. When it came to Merissa & Jacque’s “I Do’s”, there wasn’t a dry eye in sight. These two shared the most heartfelt vows and at this moment everyone could feel the stars align.
Jacque was wearing a super stylish Dolce & Gabbana suit. That fabric makes the classic black suit ultra-modern and we love the black ribbon tie! Black was also a great choice for bridesmaids because it’s elegant and classy, but a little bit edgy too. These ladies snagged their gowns at Lulus. M looked absolutely stunning in this soft and flowy gown with a lace bodice and high neckline!
The second bride was wearing a chic A-line wedding dress with a lace bodice and a halter neckline plus a train.
The wedding ceremony space was done with boho rugs, lots of pampas grass and a round arch with lush blooms and pampas grass.
The wedding reception was done with lush and textural arrangements, a lace runner, glass chargers.
A stylish wedding dessert table with pampas grass, lots of sweets and a naked wedding cake with blush blooms.
