The Great Gatsby brought the roaring era back and made it super popular again. If you love all things art deco, you are sure to love this amazing wedding, and you won’t believe it – it’s all DIY!
The couple didn’t have much time for planning as the bride travels the world dancing on cruise ships and is home every four months for a four-week vacation. But they managed to do that all themselves, without a wedding planner at all!
The chosen color palette was a chic one: white, gold and green, and it gave the industrial venue a luxurious feel. The guys wanted the wedding to have a huge wow factor, still being budget-friendly. They did it DIYing all the decorations: hand-calligraphed signs, chandeliers made from hula hoops, and 180 gold-painted wine bottle centerpieces. This is also a great way to personalize wedding decor and get exactly what you like. There were no florals used, only greenery and foliage, which gave a lively feel to the industrial setting and reduced the costs, besides greenery matches and gold and white color scheme perfectly.
The bride was wearing a gorgeous mermaid wedding dress with straps and an embellished back by Casablanca. The groom was rocking a black suit with a black tie, and the bridesmaids were in mismatched glitter gowns. All the girls were wearing greenery crowns, the wedding bouquet was made of tons of greenery and air plants. The bridesmaids were carrying refined lanterns with air plaints inside, and they looked really wow!
The wedding cake matched the wedding style perfectly, it was a gold carrot one served on a refined art deco stand.
