We are in the middle of summer, and it’s high time to enjoy some bright summer boho weddings. The wedding we are sharing today is a cozy backyard wedding in New Zealand.
The bride was wearing a chic boho gown with a lace bodice and a plain skirt plus a geometrically cutout back. She was wearing her hair down and a bright floral crown for a relaxed boho summer look. The groom was rocking a blue suit, a colorful bow tie and brown shoes, and look at his stylish beard – isn’t it cool? The bridesmaids were wearing dusty pink knee dresses.
The couple wanted the wedding to reflect their personalities, relaxed with a splash of weird, every detail was very personal, from making most of the decorations themselves to hand picking a vintage plate for all of the guests, and hand making all of the tea light candles. The couple themselves made 30 meters of ribbon bunting, 200 tea light candles, and spray painted all of the dinosaurs and animal’s that decorated our tables gold. The bride’s mom collected all of the plates and mason jars for the tables. The groom’s sister hand wrote all of our place cards. The groom also built the outdoor wine barrel bar. The entire wedding felt like a huge team effort, they had aunties folding napkins, cousins hanging lights, moms and sisters arranging all of the flowers on the tables, it made for a really fun and family orientated wedding week. Take a look at the photos and get inspired for your own wedding!
