Iceland is always a bunch of unforgettable impressions because the landscapes there are breathtaking and wow. Eloping to Iceland is a fantastic idea that will make your wedding amazing, and if your friends and family are able to go with you – it’s even more special!
Crystal and Sam decided to have an intimate small wedding with just the closest ones, and the bride’s dad offered Iceland. The couple hired a wedding planner to assist and they began planning everything. The ceremony took place outside overlooking a beautiful waterfall before guests headed back to the hotel for the reception. Before the reception began, guests enjoyed a light snack and a celebratory glass of champagne at the ceremony site.
The bride was wearing a very sexy sheath wedding gown with a plunging neckline, an illusion back on buttons and a lace applique bodice, she also opted for a warm faux fur coat as the wedding was in the fall. All the guests were also wearing warm coats to feel comfortable during the outdoor ceremony. The groom was wearing a black suit and a navy tie.
The wedding reception was decorated with simplistic elegance: instead of centerpieces, they placed photos from their relationship down the table’s center. It was a great way to personalize the table and a cool idea to save on the budget. The wedding cake was a traditional Icelandic wedding cake called Kransakaka: this beautiful dessert consists of almond rings, which are glued to each other with glazing, and the inside is filled with chocolate or some other filling. Wow!
The bride was wearing a fitting sleeveless wedding dress with a plunging neckline and a lace bodice, the groom was rocking a black suit with a navy tie.
