This Greece destination wedding of Kahroba and Jose was certainly a global affair! The couple traveled from California to celebrate their Mexican and Persian heritages in Mykonos. Let’s take a closer look at the wedding.
The wedding took place in July in St. John area in Mykonos, at Hippie Fish, Beach Bar and Restaurant. The venue was exactly the reflection of the couple’s personalities: vibrant, happy, relaxed and perfect for a wedding party.
The ceremony took place in the late afternoon at the deck of the restaurant, where guests were seated to enjoy the emotional ceremony. Coming all the way from California, with heritage the bride from Iran and the groom from Mexico they wanted to keep all the Persian traditions of the ceremony and to include some elements of the Mexican culture.
The bride wanted the decoration to be minimal so the stylists used baby’s breath and eucalyptus, and for the bride’s bouquet they used white garden roses, hydrangeas and baby’s breath, while on the guests’ tables there were succulents as table number holders. There were lots of candles on the tables which gave a lovely romantic touch to the look.
The reception and dinner took place at the restaurant level of Hippie Fish, where guests enjoyed a variety of Greek courses, and danced till early morning hours.
In addition to the big day, the group partied all weekend too! The day before the wedding the guests were invited to an all white dinner at Blue Myth restaurant, where all guests had to be dressed in white. They enjoyed the Greek Mediterranean cuisine and they had the opportunity to see live Greek dancers and share with them their dancing skills.
