If your wedding happens to take place in early winter, think over making these delicious favors for your wedding guests. They’d make a perfect favor at any time of the year, but now they’re in season. Prepare caramel, water, fleur de sel, baby pears, sauce pot, wooden spoon, parchment paper, boxes, tags and ribbon. First wash the pears, dry them and set aside. Then combine in a sauce pot the caramels and a few tablespoons of water. Heat the caramel and stir until it melts into a consistent liquid. Then carefully dip the pears by the stem into the caramel one by one covering the skin evenly and put them on the parchment paper. Let them cool for a while, and when they can be easily removed from the paper, hold them and sprinkle the base with pinches of the fleur de sel. Finally, place each pear into a beautiful box, tie with a ribbon and add a tag. Keep in cool place until your wedding.
