Moody weddings are extremely popular now, and many couples opt for dark colors. If you want some inspiration, the wedding we are sharing today is right what you need. This magically spooky wedding took place in a golf club and estate and with the help of event designer, By Emily B., became a real dream!
The couple has incredibly unique personalities, and the wedding expressed that in the best way possible. They love twiggy, haunted, dark, velvety and spooky things, and designing their wedding was super fun. From the lush florals also designed by By Emily B. and the many fruits incorporated into centerpieces, there is a wave of rich colors throughout the entire space: it was a dark twist on jewel tones, deep cranberry, emerald, navy, black, and gold. The tables looked unique and decadent, with lots of cool touches like tarot cards or fruity centerpieces. The wedding cake was a naked one with fresh fruits and blooms.
The bride was wearing a breathtaking spaghetti strap wedding dress with a lace applique bodice and a matching long train, with spaghetti straps and an open back on a small row of buttons. She was also wearing black velvet shoes for a chic touch. The groom opted for a navy tuxedo with black lapels and cool black velvet moccasins with skulls. The bridesmaids were wearing mismatching dark jewel tone dresses and were holding vintage candle lanterns instead of usual bouquets, and so was the bride.
