This cake topper was originally made for Mother’s Day, but I like the idea of it so much, I think it’ll be great for any occasion, such as your wedding, for example. It’s incredibly easy yet so pretty! The supplies are paper straws in interesting pattern, design or color matching to your wedding theme, scissors, glue gun and wood skewers. First cut straws to various lengths to form different letters of the alphabet (your initials, for example). Next glue the straw pieces together with glue. Once dry, insert a wood skewer into the bottom of one of the straw holes and glue in place. Wait for a little bit to let the glue dry and pole each topper through your cake. Ta-daa!
