We are feeling the summer fun with this tropical Miami wedding shoot from Xiaoqi Li Photography! Inspired by the local Cuban culture, this inspiration is vibrant in both colors and traditions.
The stylists wanted to show off the energy of Cuban culture and infuse it into our modern, boho wedding inspiration. Many of the vendors have Cuban heritage and helped the team blend a mix of colorful designs and Cuban traditions for the shoot. You may see authentic wedding cuisine and traditions, such as a live cigar roller, guava and cream cheese pastelitos, mojitos, fedora, and “Hora Loca” celebration at the end.
I’m head over heels with the hand painted colorful stationery with Cuban coasts. The florals created for the day were done in rust and pink shades and with textural greenery, they looked bold and very chic. The place settings were done with linen lace napkins and gold edge plates. The wedding cake was a fantastic green and white one, with gold leaf, rust blooms and sugar monstera leaves, which looked very spectacular. What a Cuban wedding can be without classic mojitos?
The bride was wearing a romantic lace A-line sleeveless wedding dress with a V-neckline and an open back, a wavy updo and statement earrings. The groom was rocking a grey three-piece suit, a green tie and a hat. Take a look at the lovely pics of this wedding shoot and get inspired!
