Cool Eclectic Elopement In Portuguese Countryside

This couple went for a romantic eclectic wedding in Portuguese countryside.

Today’s couple, Lindsay and Baxter, a stylish and adventurous pair travelled across the globe from Florida to Portugal to say ‘I do’.  Get ready for sun-drenched outdoor spaces of Casas Caiadas, the beautiful details, the incredible style of the couple, or maybe it’s just the inspiring way they did things their own way.

It took Lindsay and Baxter no time at all to settle on a destination wedding in Portugal. The couple ended up picking Casas Caiadas – Watermills of the Alentejo. They loved the idea of having a rural country side ceremony. There is something about a countryside wedding that seems so romantic. After the ‘I do’s’ the couple enjoyed a beautiful al fresco reception made just for two. The color palette was soft pastels blended with earth tones. The setting was simplistic and natural. I love how the couple’s planner used white pillar candles to echo the villa’s facade, adding mini bud vases and sprigs of dried flowers to compliment the surroundings. After the wedding, the couple set off into wedded bliss with an epic honeymoon adventure around Portugal.

Baxter rocked a slick grey suit by Taylor Stitch, while Lindsay’s beautiful wedding-day look features a midi dress by Cecilie Bahnsen, which she paired with the most stunning blue boots by Ganni. This cool and chic style matches the mood of her bouquet of orchids, pampas grass and dried leaves. Get inspired by the pics of this beautiful elopement below!
