This gorgeous elopement shoot took place in Morocco, in the city of Marrakech and around it.

If you are thinking of a destination wedding, Morocco should be on your list! Bright colors, desert romance, local flavors and vintage finds all around will make your wedding or elopement gorgeous, and the shoot by Sophie Epton we are sharing today proves that.

The shoot took place in the city of Marrakech and around it, and it’s a perfect location as you’ll see pink walls, the incredible installations of zellige tiles shimmering like jewels and incredible doorways calling you to the next adventure. Add carved wooden furniture and colorful rugs and a stunning venue is ready!

The bride was wearing a Tatyana Merenyuk gown, complete a gorgeous Susie Saltzman pear ring design and flowing cape that picked up the wind perfectly for the shots. Chayma changed into a marvelous, intricate Claire Pettibone gown of lace, with illusion back and fringed cap sleeves. Her looked was finished by a pair of peep toe sheer booties with lace appliques. The groom was wearing a white jacket and black pants plus a bow tie – a fresh take on a traditional white tux look.

The florals for the shoot were created by Twyla with Remi and Gold, who made the most lush, vibrant kaleidoscope of florals picking them in local gardens and flower markets. Boarding School Collective created many fantastic touches – from the Moroccan-tile inspired watercolor invite suite to the lucite menu to the linen chair drapings painted with “Habibi” (husband/ wife) that added such a personal touch and story to the elopement.
