Classic weddings will be always on top! And if you’re planning this type of weddings, you should pay your attention to Fiona and Aaron’s big day. All the details were perfect: a chic place, elegant gowns, stunning décor ideas. Now let’s consider all the parts of this wedding attentively.
Like many other people, Aaron and Fiona first met through mutual friends. When they both were given job opportunities at the same time, they needed to move away from each other for 9 months. After their long-distance relationship successful experience they understood that they want to share the whole life! The proposal was a very romantic and lovely surprise for Fiona. Aaron reserved a table at Iceberg Dining Room in Bondi and asked Fiona to be his wife.
They decided that their wedding theme will be classically elegant, so romantic and timeless. That’s why Aaron and Fiona picked up soft colors such as grey and blush pink with gold undertones for wedding decor. As for the ceremony place they chose Mount St Canice Church in Sandy Bay, Tasmania. You can see in the photos below that this location has amazing views! By the way, all the photos were taken by creative photographer Tanya from TK’s Photography.
So what about décor ideas? As you can see in the pics, all the white bridal and guest tables were decorated with a lot of flowers and greenery such as lisianthus, carnations and foliage. Instead of usual place cards, Aaron and Fiona created a gold color vintage mirror seating chart which was absolutely chic and unique decor. As for favors for wedding guests Fiona and her dad made 150 raspberry red velvet cupcakes decorated with tasty cream cheese icing. Special for these desserts they made boxes and put the cupcakes in them.
And of course I want to tell you about the beautiful bridal gown and groom attire. Like a fairytale princess Fiona was wearing a blush fit-and-flare strapless dress with a convertible tulle skirt. It was a very universal gown cause after the ceremony she was able to remove the tulle skirt to feel comfy at the wedding party. This dress was Brides by Mancini gown, purchased from Bridal by Aubrey Rose in Perth. To complete the bridal look and follow classic theme, Fiona picked up a very simple but stylish white rose bouquet. The groom and groomsmen were wearing blue suits by KENJI.
