Both from Australia bride and groom has met in Amsterdam, while they were on vacation there. When Scott had proposed, they decided very quickly that they want to get marry in Amsterdam. Also big ceremony and party is not what they were considering. Exactly 5 years after they had met they were supposed to say yes to each other, just within a couple hundred meters from the place they have first seen each other.
The bride was wearing a lace wedding gown with long sleeves and a V-neckline. She was rocking locks and a fresh flower crown. The groom was wearing tan pants, a chocolate blazer and a matching tie.
Waldorf Astoria, a 5 star hotel in Amsterdam, features a little tea house in the yard, which was perfect for the wedding day. Katrina and Scott wanted to be surprised with the styling on their wedding day, and the event team got a carte blanche. The stylists designed a show stopper backdrop using lots and lots of flowers. The colors were really burgundy, marsala, plump and green. After the personal ceremony couple and their two best friends had high tea Alice in wonderland style in the tea house. This was a boho elopement, which isn’t traditional for Waldorf Astoria, so it was a statement.
The bride was wearing a boho lace maxi dress with long sleeves and a V-neckline, a fresh floral crown.
The wedding arch in the garden of Waldorf Astoria was done with crimson blooms and lush greenery.
