There is something so mesmerizing about the night sky, and it’s lovely when a passion for all things Celestial is illustrated beautifully in wedding decor and details; including on the day stationery, an embroidered wedding dress and an impressive dried flower crescent moon installation. Add the rustic tones of autumn and the spectacular backdrop of Stoke Park in Northamptonshire and you have one hell of an inspiration shoot to pore over and pin.
A celestial / autumnal feel was created throughout with a crescent moon floristry installation, crystals, decadent fruits on the tablescape, star-covered accessories and dresses. Adapting the idea that the bride has been in a long-distance relationship and they have both been staring at the night sky miles apart only to finally be reunited for their wedding day. I particularly love the use of dried foliage to form the crescent moon over the outdoor tablescape. There are many more elements to enjoy and marvel at including geode name place settings, and a fabulous cake with iced flowers.
And who can deny that the pale blue wedding dress with white embroidery isn’t an absolute knockout? The second wedding dress was a modern white one, with a V-neckline and a capelet. The third wedding dress was a fully embellished one, with an illusion back, deep V-neckline and cap sleeves. Her hairstyles were accented with star hairpins and with a rhinestone and pearl crown for a Royal feel.
