Giant redwood trees, a moody blue and earthy palette, a seriously crafty bride who is all about DIYs… this camping-inspired wedding in the mountains of Santa Cruz, California is one for the books!
Photographed by Anna Delores Photography, the nuptials of Andria and Kevin was nothing short of enchanted. The bride, Andria, is an aerospace engineer and deliberately chose the date for her wedding to Kevin (May 21) because it was a blue moon! Vanessa Noel Events helped them to create their dream day by favoring elements inspired by camping and nature.
The whole wedding was decorated in woodland theme: moss, branches, antlers, greenery and bold flowers. The ceremony spot was highlighted with wood logs and pillar candles, and nature itself became a perfect backdrop.
Each invitation was handmade with a sprig of greenery under a wax seal, so each guest received a meticulously-crafted, one-of-a-kind invitation.
That gorgeous bouquet is by the planner, Vanessa Noel Events! And we’re head over heels for the bride’s ‘Santina’ dress by Watters, it has a trendy plunging neckline and a cool illusion in one, and its flowing skirt is ideal for a laid-back forest wedding. The bridal crown was made of fresh flowers, and it looked gorgeous and very forest-like.
The couple and their guests enjoyed a blue moon, deep in a candlelit forest, with the smell of BBQ cooking on a huge wood grill, that’s what they wanted – a simple, relaxed wedding with all of their closest people around and a romantic blue moon.
