Edible Favors
Edible favors are a great idea for absolutely any wedding and any season, from fall to spring. I strongly recommend to embrace the season with your favors, and it’s very easy to do, especially if you can cook. It can be apple butter, apple jam, blackberry jam or sauce, caramel and nut covered apples and pears, apple and pumpkin pies and macarons and fall spiced donuts, which are a hot trend. Honey and maple syrup can be another cool idea for an edible favor, not only for the fall but also for winter. If you feel like cooking, spoil your guests with homemade pickles of your choice – what a great idea to save some money cooking yourself! More universal ideas are herbed oil and balsamic, fried almonds, s’mores for a camping or rustic wedding, pie in a jar or pretzels packed personally with gift tags.
