Festival weddings are fun, bold, bright and colorful and if you love them, take a look at the one that we are sharing today!
The wedding of Lily and Jacob was themed as a ‘botanical rainbow’, with lots of fresh and natural greenery and bright colors. The couple loves color and quirkiness, they wanted it to be a celebration. They also love the outdoors and are forever walking with their rescue dogs, so they knew it had to be an outdoor wedding but that it had to be full of as much color as physically possible. The guys didn’t want the traditional stuffy church wedding and white and purple color scheme, they wanted it to be an explosion of color.
The wedding was kept very personal, the couple hardly used any outside professionals. Everything was DIY, handmade and special to them. They had the bride’s brother-in-law carving candle sticks, her sister-in-law creating bow ties and bunting, her sister doing her hair and writing on blackboards, her mother-in-law arranged the flowers and her father-in-law created natural structure arches for the ceremony and marquee, full of fresh flowers and greenery from the hedgerows. Jacob made blackboards, sign posts and a Pimms Bar and Lily designed the save the dates, invites and programs.
The bride was wearing a lace strapless mermaid wedding dress and a veil and the groom was rocking a super trendy and bright floral print three-piece wedding suit with a white shirt and bow tie. Take a look at more of this bold and vivacious wedding below!
