A botanical meets industrial styled shoot with a handmade wedding vibe inspires modern and creative bride or groom. Metallics, copper, industrial materials are paired with bold, vibrant greenery to balance the delicate with the industrial.
There were many things handcrafted especially for this shoot: a hand drawn leaf print, which was then made into invitations and men’s accessories. Other groom’s accessories like a metallic infused knit tie with complimentary pocket square and cufflinks, using rosemary lambswool and copper lurex, were also made for the shoot. Hand-painted illustrations were used as unique cover designs for the wedding albums and guestbooks. To highlight that it’s a British wedding shoot but without being stereotypical, the authors incorporated an industrial feel through our choice of location and subtle metallic elements.
The groom was wearing a stylish three-piece grey suit with a bold handcrafted tie and brown shoes, and the bride was rocking a separate with a crop top and a layered ruffle skirt. Her hair was simple and loose, with greenery on top – Greenery is the color of this year.
The tablescape was a simple rustic one, with a neutral table runner, greenery and LEDs and candles. The plates were decorated with copper leaf to match the shoot decor, and you can see copper pipe candle holders to make the table setting cooler. The wedding cake was simply white, with pale blooms and greenery.
