Boho and eclectics are among the coolest wedding trends now, and if you want a bit of such beauty, here it is! The wedding we are sharing today features no wedding party, place cards, assigned seats, or any of the traditional wedding elements that you are used to see every time, instead of them you’ll see a modern wedding with a relaxed boho vibe.
Alyssa and Mikey chose a celebration with a party full of artistic elements, modern plants, and all things Austin. Lined with patterned rugs, palm fronds and tons of pampas grass, this aisle and ceremony space incorporate the couple’s love of the desert, traveling, and artistic designs. The couple envisioned guests mingling and dining at communal tables beneath canvas teepees, wandering from station to station and bar to bar, and relaxing the night away on plush lounges under twinkling lights.
The bride was wearing a white wedding dress with an illusion neckline and back, with floral appliques and a mermaid silhouette. The groom was wearing a black three-piece suit with no tie and a white shirt. The bridal bouquet included some architectural elements: clean lines mixed with organic touches and pops of color, and pampas grass reminiscent of the desert to highlight the bridal architectural career. The groom is a designer, so he crafted the wedding invitations himself. The wedding cake was also architectural – a white one with bold sculptural edible petals on it.
