Africa is a unique continent with a rich history, celebrated culture, stunning landscapes and unusual animals that can’t be found anywhere else, that’s why it’s a fantastic place to get married. Today’s elopement shoot will inspire you to go there and tie the knot, I’m sure!
The aim of this shoot was to show case a realistic and inspirational setting for the adventurous couples out there whose hearts have been stolen by the African sun, and who desire to elope in Africa. The shoot was done with boho statements and it took place at Cherry Glamping in Eglin Valley, an hour from Cape Town.
The bride was wearing a sweetheart neckline in a gorgeous gown with a full skirt. She rocked romantic hair and make up and some amazing statement accessories. The groom was wearing a cream jacket and sand-colored pants plus leather accents and a cute bow tie. The bridal bouquet was done with white blooms, succulents, herbs, air plants and wrapped in macramé – so boho!
The tablescape was done with traditional African textiles, sheer glass chargers and geometric escort cards by Bree Creatives make for elevated safari-style dining. I totally love the African continent shaped menu – what can be more genius than that? The wedding cake was a white one with gorgeous hand-painted proteas and a gold giraffe cake topper to embrace the location this way. Get inspired and go to Africa to get married!
