If you feel free-spirited and are looking for inspiration for your big day, we have a brilliant shoot for you. The shoot took place in the Big Sur, and the team behind it was De Joy Photography and Lori from Revival Vintage Rentals. The shoot took place the beautiful Gardener Ranch in Carmel Valley this September, and with its playful, chic, outdoor elements, it’s the perfect styled-up boho tipi showcase.
The shoot bursts with colors and edgy Californian country vibes, it’s whimsical, natural and very boho-like, and Carmel Valley was a perfect venue that matched the shoot theme. There was a breathtaking 30-ft high tipi decorated with a skull and greenery, which was an amazing fit for the shoot. Instead of a floral wedding arch, you can see trees that are lushly decorated with blooms and a macramé decoration made using an embroidery hoop.
The wedding stationery was done with natural vibes – you can see watercolor leaves on each piece. The picnic setting was done with a low table and some pillows, and a macramé table runner completed the look. Wicker chargers, colorful blooms and blue porcelain are a great match for the boho shoot.
The bride was wearing a lace deep V-neck wedding dress with short sleeves and a front slit. The second gown was a semi sheer long sleeve one, with a deep V-neck, it looked a bit more formal and less boho but still very beautiful. The groom was rocking a navy suit and brown shoes and then just was wearing no jacket and suspenders. Get more details of this cool shoot below!
