The venue itself was exactly what they wanted, small, intimate, relaxed and catered to all of their needs, It’s a stunning little venue and is only 5 minutes down the road from where we live, it’s set in the heart of the beautiful Charnwood forest and completely in keeping with the countryside aesthetic. there were 88 guests and it took the couple 6 months to plan. The guys had to postpone the date twice because they fell pregnant and decided to get married after the child is born. After that the couple got married, they couldn’t wait; the baby was also present at the wedding.
The couple DIYed the laser cut guest names, painted table names, garden games, centerpieces, stationary, order of service sign, the wedding arch. The arch was a wooden one decorated with airy blush fabric, greenery, blooms and herbs. As for dessets, the couple preferred a tower of Krispy Kreme doughnuts and a locally made lemon drizzle cake on top.
