Today’s wedding shoot is going to make you feel blue…in all the best ways! Beautiful blue indigo styling makes this wedding wash over us with a cleansing perspective on true art. The great thing about getting married in an art museum is all the built-in unique craftsmanship.
Perfectly Uncommon Weddings created this shoot at The Blanton Museum of Art in Austin, TX, with a timely thought in mind. Couples could host an intimate wedding here with under 100 people; in a one of a kind venue designed by the best artists around the world! Gear up for soft, natural light and some of the sweetest shades of blue you’ve ever seen. The Inviting Pear pulls in all kinds of blue indigo wedding vibes with the artistic stationery suite. This super modern ceremony design lets the art museum installation (beautifully) speak for itself. The flowers, from Loveleigh Flowers, bring in something old, something new, something dried and something blue! The wedding tablescape was done in white and navy, with dried blooms and grasses and black candles, and with this sea of blue hues, we love the black accents that pull in modern styling. The wedding cake was a modern Aegean Sea-inspired one from Luciole Bakery; with flecks of silver + organic edging.
The bride was wearing a Rue de Seine dress with wild west vibes! The ‘Aegean’ gown is bold and unapologetically dramatic, with dip-dyed tassels that drape over blue-gradient embroidery. The groom is rocking the hell out of his deep navy suiting. Take a look at the gorgeous pics of this wedding shoot below!
