We’ve already shared a wedding in Carondelet House, which can boast of real French chic. But this venue is perfect not only for refined vintage weddings, it can host a modern elegant wedding, and today we are sharing one of such nuptials.
Grant and Laura’s Carondelet House nuptials prove why a classic black and white wedding can be both timeless and unique. From the gorgeous ceremony to the intimate reception, their beaming couple’s day went off without a hitch thanks to the expert coordination of Day of Gal!
In an elegant strapless white gown, the bride made her way down the aisle with a powdery white bouquet designed by The Little Branch. Her groom awaited her in an all black suit accented by the perfect boutonnière. Both the bride and groom were flanked by six bridesmaids and six groomsmen, all in black with complimenting white florals. The couple’s chuppah was suspended above the ceremony site from the exposed beam ceilings, surrounded in gorgeous green garland.
After “I do”, guests enjoyed an elegant reception in the same space that the ceremony was held. Garland flowed through the center of the long farm tables with white blooms dispersed throughout and subtle gold accents. Dinner was comprised of Maple Soy Skirt Steak, Lemon Herb Crusted Chicken, or a delicious ratatouille stack by Tres LA .
The rest of the evening included a fabulous wedding cake by SusieCakes, and dancing in the front parlor to the tunes played by Dart DJ. The whole wedding is filled with impeccable taste and perfect elegance, which made it timeless, and of course there are a lot of ideas to steal, from a refined strapless wedding gown to a cool giant wine cork heart, get inspired!
