This adorable wedding will take your breath away! The pair opted to have an intimate ceremony and dinner followed by a big party the next evening, so everyone enjoyed two different venues. The guys wanted to get married outside amongst the flora, fauna, birds and bees, so the Lost Orangery from Unique Home Stays was simply a perfect place to hold a stylish and elegant soiree. The Royal Crescent Hotel had a magical little secret garden in the grounds, licensed to hold weddings.
The ceremony was followed by champagne and canapés on the croquet lawn, and then a five course tasting lunch in a private room overlooking the gardens. The next evening they hosted a black tie party at The Lost Orangery to give them a chance to celebrate with all of their friends. They planned and organized the wedding themselves, however did hire a wedding co-ordinator for the weekend to set everything up, run the party and clear up afterwards.
The bride didn’t have an idea of the wedding dress but she wanted a weighty, luxurious fabric in a beautiful cut. She ended up with a strapless luxurious wedding gown with a mermaid silhouette and a small train, such a chic and classic look! She also wore a veil and the groom was rocking a classic black tux.
As for florals, they were chic and contemporary, these were white mono-botanical arrangements in individual vases used for both venues. On the décor side they kept things quite simple and prioritized flowers, candles and lanterns. Color wise we stuck to whites, greys and gold.
The cake was of four white tiers with gold metallic accents. Each tier had a different flavor: carrot cake, victoria sponge, red velvet and fruitcake. Scroll down to see all the details!
